The company is considering investing in PO capacity using propylene from its joint venture cracker at Map Ta Phut, Thailand with Cementhai, and will decide “in the next few months,” Bricco says. The cracker will have 800,000 m.t./year of propylene capacity. If Dow decides to proceed with the PO plant, it will be in the form of a jv hydrogen peroxide-to-PO...
