Dow Completes Netherlands Polyols Expansion

Dow Chemical says it has completed a180,000-m.t./year expansion of its polyols unit at Terneuzen, the Netherlands. Dow will use propylene oxide, sourced from a hydrogen peroxide-to-propylene oxide plant at Antwerp, Belgium in a joint venture with BASF, as feedstock for the additional polyols capacity.
