Williams confirms second death from Geismar explosion

Williams officials said Friday afternoon that a second employee has died following Thursday's propylene explosion and fire at the company's Geismar, LA, olefins plant. Williams officials said that Scott Thrower, 47, supervisor of operations, died Friday as a result of injuries suffered in Thursday’s explosion. Zachary Green, 29, an operator at the plant, was previously identified as the accident’s first fatality Thursday.
