UOP Technology Selected for Propylene Plant in China

UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary, says that it has been selected by Zhejiang Julong Petrochemical Co., to provide technology for a new plant to produce propylene at Zhejiang Julong’s facility at Pinghu, Zhejiang province, China. The plant is expected to start up in 2013 and will produce 450,000 m.t./year of propylene. UOP will provide engineering design, technology licensing, catalysts, adsorbents, equipment, staff training and technical service for the project.
