METI: Global Demand for Petchem Products to Pick Up in Second Half of 2009

The Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry in Japan (METI; Tokyo) says that according to a study done by the Chemical Division of METI’s Manufacturing Industries Bureau, global demand for petrochemical products is expected to pick up in and after the second half of 2009, as the world economy will see some recovery.
