Lummus Technology Awarded Large Propane Dehydrogenation Plant Contract in China

Lummus Technology has been awarded a contract by Ningbo Haiyue New Material Co. for the license and engineering design of a grassroots propane dehydrogenation unit to be built at Ningbo City, China. The unit will use the Catofin dehydrogenation process to produce 600,000 m.t./year of propylene and is expected to start up in 2014.  Ningbo Haiyue New Material Company is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Haiyue Co.
