Huntsman Signs PO-MTBE License Agreement

Huntsman Corp. has signed a license agreement with Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes (Yantai, China), for the production of propylene oxide (PO) and methyl tert -butyl ether (MTBE). Financial details were not disclosed. Yantai Wanhua is an affiliate of Wanhua Industrial Group (Yantai), which acquired BorsodChem (Kazincbarcika, Hungary) earlier this year.
