A number of propane dehydrogenation plants are being developed in the region, but heavier cracker feed slates and development of refinery sources will provide the bulk of capacity in the longer term. All of the propane dehydro projects are in Saudi Arabia due to the kingdom’s current advantageous feedstock price.
