Enterprise to Boost PGP Fractionation Capacity at Mont Belvieu

Enterprise Products Partners says it plans to expand polymer-grade propylene (PGP) fractionation facility at its Mont Belvieu, TX complex by the first quarter of 2013. The expansion will add about 7,500 barrels per day (bpd), or 500 million lbs/ year of incremental PGP production. When complete, the expansion will increase Enterprise’s net capacity to produce PGP at its Mont Belvieu facility by more than 10%, from 73,000 bpd, or about 4.9 billion lbs/year, to roughly 80,500 bpd, or about 5.4 billion lbs/ year, Enterprise says.   The company has four...
