CPChem Appoints New CEO; Announces Management Changes

Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) board of directs says it has appointed Peter L. Cella as president and CEO of the company, effective February 8. Cella replaces Greg Garland, who departed the company in October after being named the senior v.p./exploration and production-Americas at ConocoPhillips.   Cella most recently served as senior v.p./petrochemicals at BASF.
