Al Waha Propane Dehydro Plant Offline Due to Technical Problems

Sahara Petrochemicals says its Jubail, Saudi Arabia based propane dehydrogenation plant is offline and should re-start at the end of the first quarter of this year. The plant, operated by Al Waha, a joint venture in which Sahara has 75% and LyondellBasell 25%, was taken offline following a rupture in an underground water pipe and a breakdown in one of the propane dehydro unit's pumping devices.
