Basic engineering design is under way, and commissioning of the complex is scheduled for early 2009, UOP says. It will have capacity for 1 million m.t./year of para-xylene and 360,000 m.t./year of benzene, and include the world’s largest-capacity, single-train adsorption unit for p-xylene, UOP says.
