The PTT Aromatics and Refining facility will use UOP’s catalyst in its CCR Platforming unit to convert naphtha for producing benzene and para-xylene. “Demand for para-xylene and benzene continues to grow,” says Caroline Bibb, senior v.p./Catalysts, Adsorbents, and Specialties group at UOP.
