Sabic Closes Part of U.K. Aromatics Complex

Sabic Europe says it plans to close the Aromatics 2 production unit at the company’s petrochemical complex near Seal Sands, U.K. and a para-xylene production facility at Wilton, U.K. at the end of this year. Both sites are located in the Teesside, U.K. region. Sabic’s plans also include an upgrade of the remaining Aromatics 1 plant near Seal Sands.
