Nippon Oil plans to halt production at its 420,000-m.t./year para-xylene unit at Oita, Japan by the end of this month due to poor margins and falling demand for petrochemicals, media reports say. The company also idled a p-xylene unit at Mizushima, Japan last week, reports...
