Eastman to Expand 2-EH and Butyraldehyde Capacity at Longview

Eastman Chemical says it will expand 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) capacity at its Longview, TX facility by about 32,000 m.t. The expansion will include a 4,500 m.t. debottlenecking in October, bringing total 2-EH capacity at the site to about 37,000 m.t./year. The expansion is expected to be complete by mid-2012.
