Nigeria progresses with large methanol project

Gulf of Guinea Methanol (Lagos) has selected IHS to carry out a bankable feasibility study for its proposed $1.1-billion methanol project planned to be built in the Ogidigben industrial gas park in Nigeria. The park is expected to house several gas-based industries in the country. The project is planned by Gulf of Guinea Oil Exploration (GGOEX) together with Haldor Topsoe as a strategic partner and licensor of the technology.
