Methanex Appoints John Floren as Next President and CEO

Tom Hamilton, chairman of Methanex, said on Friday that the board of directors has appointed John Floren to the post of president and CEO, effective January 1, 2013. Floren is currently senior v.p./global marketing & logistics. Bruce Aitken, current president and CEO, will retire from the company, but will remain a member of the board of directors.   "It has been a true honor leading Methanex for the past eight years.
