Iran to Build Two Huge Methanol Plants

Haldor Topsoe says it will provide process technology and other services for two world-scale methanol plants to be built at Assaluyeh, Iran for start up in 2013. Marjan Petrochemical Co. (Tehran), a private-sector company, will build a 1.6-million m.t./year plant, and Kimiaye Pars (Tehran), also a private-sector firm, is planning an identical unit. National Petrochemical Co.
