Honeywell to help improve operations at Qafac's methanol and MTBE plants in Qatar

Honeywell is to supply a new integrated control and safety system to Qatar Fuel Additives Co. (Qafac; Doha). The overhaul will help the Mesaieed, Qatar–based complex reduce operating costs and improve efficiencies in its methanol and methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) facilities. Work is scheduled to be completed in the last quarter of this year.
