The project is expected to lead to construction of a commercial-scale MTP plant, the first MTP unit to use Chinese technology. The plant could be completed in 2013. It will use coal as its raw material. The pilot plant will be ready within two months, Yang Zi Jun, general manager of AHCG, tells CW.
