The company disclosed the plans in a filing to the NYSE. Production of methanol at the complex was suspended in late 2010 to ramp up ammonia production at the site. The move followed a recently completed review, which recommended focusing the Woodward operations on fertilizer production. The decision to shutter the methanol plant was made yesterday.
