Sinopec Brings Zhenhai Ethylene Complex Online

Sinopec says its Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical subsidiary has brought onstream a 1 million m.t./year ethylene complex at Ningbo, China. The plant uses the Lummus process. The Ningbo complex is currently the largest ethylene plant in China and, with refining throughput of 23 million m.t./year, it is also the largest refinery in the country.  The downstream complex will comprise several units, including a 650,000-m.t./year ethylene glycol plant bases on the Dow Meteor...
