Compass Minerals Say Less Severe Weather Led to Lower Deicing Sales Volumes

Compass Minerals says highway deicing sales volumes were about 2,724,000 tons in the fourth-quarter of 2011, down 17% from the year-ago quarter due to less severe snow events.
