Production of the 15 petchems surveyed and reported by the NPRA include olefins, aromatics, as well as acrylonitrile, cumene, ethylene dichloride (EDC), ethylene oxide (EO), ethylene glycol (EG), para-xylene, and styrene. First-quarter inventories of seven petchems surveyed was 2% higher than last-year’s quarter, but 9% below the previous quarter, at 5.2 billion lbs, NPRA says...
