(GACL; Vadodara, India) says it is in discussions to partner with Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC; New Delhi) in an ethylene dichloride (EDC) project at Dahej, India. The EDC plant is likely to be integrated with a petrochemical complex that will form part of a special economic zone (SEZ) being developed by ONGC at Dahej. The EDC plant would consume chlorine from GACL’s Dahej facility and ethylene produced by an olefins plant that will be the centerpiece of ONGC’s Dahej petchem complex. The EDC project is estimated...
