The plans were announced on Tuesday at a press conference in Moscow where Sibur’s CEO Dmitry Konov said that the project, tentatively called ZapSibNeftechim (Western Siberian Petrochemicals), will include an olefins complex designed to produce 1.5 million m.t./year of ethylene and 500,000 m.t./year of propylene.
