Report: Lotte subsidiary to build naphtha cracker in Indonesia

Titan Kimia Nusantara (Jakarta), a subsidiary of Lotte (Seoul), plans to build a naphtha cracker complex near the company’s industrial plant at Merak, Indonesia, with capacity for 700,000 m.t./year of ethylene and 500,000 m.t./year of propylene, according to a report from the Jakarta Post. Titan would invest $3–5 billion to build the cracker, with construction expected to start in 2017.
