Nova Boosts Ethane Supplies at Sarnia in Deal with Statoil

Nova Chemicals says it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Statoil Marketing and Trading Inc. (Stamford, CT) for a long-term supply of ethane from the Marcellus Shale basin. Statoil will supply ethane to Nova’s Sarnia, ON petrochemical complex, which typically runs on a heavier feed slate.
