Logistics Worsen Ethylene Pinch

Tight freight supply and logistical difficulties have strained already tight ethylene supply in Europe, market players say. The pinch has affected buyers, traders, and even producers, who say they have been frustrated by attempts to supplement supply with imports. The export terminal in the U.S. is “booked solid through March,” and imports from Latin America are also near their logistical limits, one European producer says.
