At least four major cracker turnarounds are scheduled for September and October on the U.S. Gulf Coast, totaling about 3.1 million m.t./year of ethylene capacity. With two producers scheduled for maintenance in September and another two for October, prices could see an uptick heading into the fourth quarter, sources say.
