Ethylene Prices Poised to Rise on Planned Outages

North American ethylene prices are poised to rebound in the latter half of the current quarter on upcoming cracker turnarounds, market players say. At least four major cracker turnarounds are scheduled for September and October on the U.S. Gulf Coast, totaling about 3.1 million m.t./year of ethylene capacity.
