U.S. ethylene contracts have settled down by 2 cts/lb, to 39.5 cts/lb del for January as result of weak demand and falling feedstock costs. Ethylene contracts have fallen for the fourth straight month, but could stabilize in February because of planned turnarounds, observers say.
