The temporary shutdown of the plant, which has capacity to produce 220,000 m.t./year of ethylene, is planned for the middle of April and will last at least three months, the company says. A total of five production lines are currently idled at the Ludwigshafen site, including an ammonia production line and plants for intermediates and compounding, and an additional 60 production lines are operating at very low capacity utilization...
