Aither Gauges Interest in West Virginia Ethylene, Acetic Acid Project

Aither Chemical (South Charleston, WV) says it has launched an open season to determine possible interest in ethylene supply from a potential catalytic ethane cracker in the Kanawha Valley region of West Virginia. Aither says the project could provide up to 600 million lbs/year of ethylene, 300 million lbs/year of acetic acid, 80 million lbs/year of carbon dioxide, and 40 million lbs/year of carbon monoxide.
