Markets :: Basic Chemicals :: Petrochemicals :: Ethylbenzene Sibur Selects Toyo to Build EB Unit9:30 AM MDT | April 21, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Sibur-Khimprom CJSC (Perm, Russia), a Sibur subsidiary, has awarded an engineering, procurement, and installation support contract to Toyo Engineering Korea for a previously announced ethylbenzene (EB) plant at Perm. The 220,000-m.t./year EB unit is due onstream in late 2010 and will supply feedstock for an increase in Sibur-Khimprom’s styrene capacity from 100,000 m.t./year, to 135,000 m.t./year.
