EQUATE Readies Huge Petchems Complex

Equate Petrochemical Co. (Safat, Kuwait), a joint venture in which Petrochemical Industries Co. of Kuwait and Dow Chemical each hold 42.5% and local companies Boubyan Petrochemical and Qurain Petrochemical Industries hold 9% and 6% respectively, says expansion of its huge petchems complex should be fully onstream in early third quarter of this year.
