Toyo Engineering Awarded Contract to Build Butadiene Plant in Indonesia

Toyo Engineering (Narashino, Japan) says its Toyo Engineering Korea (Seoul) subsidiary has been awarded a contract by Petrokimia Butadiene Indonesia, a subsidiary of Chandra Asri Petrochemical (Jakarta), to build the previously announced 100,000-m.t./year butadiene plant at Cilegon in West Java, Indonesia. Toyo-Korea will execute the project under a contract covering engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning based on Lummus/BASF technology.
