Shell Exits Sabina Butadiene JV, Leaving BASF and Total as Sole Partners

BASF and Total Petrochemicals USA have announced a change in ownership of the Sabina Petrochemicals butadiene joint venture at Port Arthur, TX. Shell Chemicals will exit the jv, effective Aug. 1, leaving BASF and Total Petrochemicals as the sole partners with 60-40 ownership.
