Invista Licenses BDO Technology in China

Invista says it has signed a technology licensing agreement with Markor Chemical (Urumqi, China) for butanediol (BDO) manufacturing technology, which will be used at Markor’s 100,000 m.t./year BDO plant at Korla, China.   The licensing agreement covers the manufacturing processes, required technologies, product formulations and engineering services, Invista says.
