Butadiene on Force Majeure

Equistar Chemical and Texas Petrochemical (TPC; Houston) have separately declared force majeure on butadiene. Equistar’s force majeure resulted from production problems at the company’s 850-million lbs/year plant at Channelview, TX, sources say.
