The plant will have a production capacity of 155,000 m.t./year and it is scheduled to start up during 2014. The investment will be in the high double-digit million euro range, BASF says. The unit will use BASF’s own technology. The project will improve the company’s integration at Antwerp and ease butadiene supplies on international markets, BASF says.
