Sunoco Idles NJ Refinery

Sunoco says it will idle production at its 145,000-bpd Eagle Point refinery at Westville, NJ due to weak demand and increased capacity that has pressured margins. About 400 employees at the site will be furloughed, the company says. Sunoco will shift current Eagle Point production to its refineries at Marcus Hook and Philadelphia, PA, which will operate at higher capacity utilization.
