Keyuan Petrochemicals Reports Higher Sales and Earnings

Keyuan Petrochemicals (Ningbo, China), an independent producer of petrochemicals established in 2007, reported a $4.9-million net income in the second quarter of this year and $10.7 million in the first half of 2010. The company, a producer of benzene, toluene and xylene as well as propylene, styrene, liquefied petroleum gas and methyl tert-butyl ether, started production in October 2009 at the Qingshi Chemical Park at Ningbo.
