(Tokyo) and Hyundai Oilbank (HDO; Seoul), has announced that production at its aromatics facility at HDO's Daesan Refinery in Korea began five months ahead of schedule with the first shipment made today. Construction of the new facility , including an 800,000-m.t./year para-xylene production unit, began at the Daesan Refinery in July 2011 and was completed on 13 November 2012.
