Construction to Start Next Week on Singapore Aromatics Project

Jurong Aromatics Corp. (JAC) plans to hold a groundbreaking ceremony on August 26 for the company's previously announced $2.4-billion aromatics project at Jurong Island, Singapore, CEO Mehdi Adib says. Speaking to reporters in Singapore today, Adib also said that the complex would start operating in October or November 2014, about six months later than previously announced.
