Acrylo Prices Rise; EG Hits Plateau

Acrylonitrile producers in Europe are seeking a €40/m.t. increase for the third quarter, on top of a strong €35/m.t. increase secured for the second-quarter contract. Meanwhile, Asian ethylene glycol (EG) producers say they will roll their July contract prices into August. Both fiber intermediates in North America have crept higher, but not quite at the rate of Europe and Asia.
