The plant will be built in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park at Caojing, and it will have capacity for 250,000 m.t./year of phenol and 150,000 m.t./year of acetone. The facility is due to be onstream at the end of 2013. Cepsa Química, a Cepsa subsidiary, will operate the plant.
