Tronox Germany Rebrands as European TiO2 Markets Stay Tight

Tronox Pigments GmbH (Krefeld, Germany) has rebranded its product to Crenox, following the separation of the business from parent Tronox Inc., after the latter went into Chapter 11 last year. "As we were no longer in anyway involved with Tronox Inc., it was prudent to change our name at that point because it would have been a big mix up in the market if two companies, producing pretty much the same products used the same name," senior sources at the Uerdingen, Germany plant tell CW.
