Tronox Files for Chapter 11 Protection for its U.S. Operations

Tronox says it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for its U.S. operations, seeking relief from legacy liabilities. The filing does not include Tronox's titanium  dioxide operations outside the U.S. The non-U.S. operations are in Australia, Germany, and the Netherlands.
