Titanium Dioxide Producers Hike Prices, Again

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) producers are targeting another round of price increases due to rising raw material prices and shrinking producer margins. This is the third consecutive month TiO2 producers have announced price hikes. Cristal Global says it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile Tiona-brand and Cristal-brand TiO2 by 3 cts/lb in North America and $150/m.t. in Brazil on August 1, or as contracts allow. The price increases are in addition to previously announced hikes of 2 cts/lb in North America for August 1 and $100/m.t. in Brazil for July...
